Description: Located behind the Log House, a delightful, private walkway leads you to the Fachwerk Cottage. The attractive rock porch has wonderful rocking chairs designed for rest and relaxation. The timbers displayed on the walls of the porch were taken from the main house when it was expanded and exhibit the true craftsmanship of our German ancestors.

The quaint living room has an inviting charm and warmth. Rough-hewn beams grace the cathedral ceiling. The focal point of the living room is the fireplace with its natural antique wood mantle and rock work. Perched above the living room is a loft. In the winter a fireside breakfast can be enjoyed from the antique table for four.

The guesthouse also contains a small kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. The sofa in the living room folds down to make a queen-size bed.
